Your Duties in your Position as a HEAD WAITER/HEAD BARMAN will be:

 

  • Greet guests and present them with the menu and recommendations.

  • Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any

  • Suggest food and beverages to the guest and also try to upsell

  • Take food and beverage orders from the guest on the order taking pads, making sure to

  • enter the special requirements and dietaries.

  • Familiarize yourself with preparation and ingredients of all meals by attending menu

  • briefings with the Restaurant manager and chefs on a daily basis

  • Mix alcoholic drinks, non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered

  • and in compliance with company standards.

  • Have a good knowledge and understanding of our drinks offering.

  • Have an understanding of the cigar offering as well as processes surrounding the selling

  • thereof

  • Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor

  • Filling in for absent staff as needed

  • Serves food and beverage to the guest as per the correct course of order

  • Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service

  • Promptly respond to guest with any additional request.

  • Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering

desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses

The successful Junior Sous Chef will report to the Head Chef and will be responsible for contributing to

a team of exceptional chefs to deliver one the best dining experiences in the world. You will be

villas, at maximum capacity of 44 covers. The kitchen has been designed and built to world class

standards (less than a year old).

The resort is an island resort like no other. It is a tropical paradise playground and the medical provision

is the first line response in a very remote location. This is a unique opportunity to spend some time in

one of the World’s most extraordinary locations. The ability to have a direct impact in the local

community and staff of the resort will be both professionally and personally very rewarding. The resort

boasts a fantastic team of skilled local and expat staff who deliver life changing experiences to

exclusive guests. Look forward to joining the team.

 

 

These include but are not limited to:

 

  • First line medical support to guests (maximum 45 guests);

  • First line medical support to expatriate and local staff of the hotel (circa 50 and 170

  • respectively);

  • Management of the Island guest-facing clinic and medical supplies;

  • Management support and mentoring of the Island Malagasy nurse;

  • Advising on the supply chain in all medical provision requirements

  • Support to the T+T Foundation’s medical outreach and personnel.

We are accepting applications for a full time spa therapist for a private island sanctuary in Madagascar.

We are looking for a Spa specialist Applicants will need to have hospitality experience in the same position.

The post will only suit highly motivated leaders with a drive to deliver a world class spa service. 

The Spa is exceptional, with world class treatments in line with the luxury brand. Guest service must meet

‘beyond expectation’ standards for every aspect from presentation and communication to delivery of the

product. 

Luxury hospitality experience;

• Previous experience managing/leading a spa team (3 years);

• Qualified in massage and spa therapies; with yoga qualifications

• Language skills; fluent in English

• Communication skills, people skills, exemplary character and values

The Spa Supervisor will report directly to the Room Division Manager on all functions from the department.

Prerequisites – advantage to have:

• Qualifications in yoga/pilates/other;

• Language skills, particularly French - any other languages would be advantageous.
