Hospitality Manager:
Hospitality managers, whether you work at the lodge or restaurant, always focused on ensuring excellent customer experience. They are leaders and problem solvers. Excellent communication and organizational skills are vital. You will be responsible for coordinating activities and helping people reach their full potential. In addition first and foremost all aspects of guest relations and series must be coordinated by this role to ensure first class five star guest experiences! You are eth link between the guest and the rest of the lodge in order to execute exceptional guest experience and satisfaction. The guest GAS scores are your responsibility!
Responsibilities:
Hire qualified personnel according to standards
Organize and coordinate operations to ensure maximum efficiency
Supervise and evaluate staff
Greet customers as soon as they walk through the door
Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
Maintain a neat, organised front-of-house environment
Seat guests and take initial drink orders as needed to ensure the ideal speed of service
conduct guest inductions and room escort services.
Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
Learn the food and beverage menu
Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for waiting for staff
Flexible schedule, particularly for in high season shifts
1+ years customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
Ability to work 8+ hours on your feet at a time
Advanced time management experience
Friendly, open disposition
Team player who looks for ways to help out other employees whenever needed
Answer phones and schedule reservations with large parties
Ensure supplies and equipment are adequate in quantity and quality
Handle customer complaints when necessary
Assist in pricing products or services
Assume responsibility of budgeting and monitoring expenses
Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards
Ensure all records are kept properly and consistently
Review and prepare reports for senior management
Requirements
Proven experience as hospitality manager
Hands-on experience in customer service or sales
Solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices
Knowledge of quality standards (e.g. ISO)
Proficient in MS Office and relevant software (e.g. ERP)
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving aptitude
BSc/BA in hospitality management
