Skills Requirement:    


Previous experience of at least 5 years in camp/lodge management, preferably with upmarket international guests within a five-star safari lodge environment.  Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to business and financial management, stock and cost controls, systems and logistics, standards of operations and procedures, service excellence, guest relations and reservations overview.


 Basic day to day HR and staff relation, leadership, motivation and training. Property and back of house operations, vehicles, repairs and maintenance overview, all utilities and any projects.  Buildings management and future upgrades, roads and grounds maintenance.  Liaison with Park Officials and working directly with the Operations Managers.


 A background or keen interest in culinary skills would be of benefit.

Used to remote living as a couple and can deal with personal pressures and a certain level of self-sufficiency is required.


 Some basic technical understanding for general R&M (solar, mechanics, generators, pumps) of a lodge would be a consideration in the selection process.


Qualifications:    Tertiary qualifications in hospitality or tourism would be essential for work permits.

3 to 5 years management experience

Must be able to demonstrate working together as a couple for a minimum of 24 months consecutively.
